实验室数据平台 LadybirdBase(www.ladybirdbase.com)
瓢虫数据库(LadybirdBase)是一个综合性生物数据库,致力于提供有关瓢虫的详细信息,包括物种多样性以及组学(基因组、转录组、微生物组)方面的数据。该数据库由中山大学庞虹教授课题组开发,使用的软件包括MySQL和Django等。其中,“SPECIES”探究瓢虫的分类学、系统发育关系、食性偏好、地理分布以及形态特征; “GENE” 模块可以获取已发布的瓢虫基因组和转录组数据,以及与基因相关的信息,包括基因结构、功能注释、基因家族、表达模式、聚合酶链反应(PCR)引物,还有对潜在水平基因转移的见解;“MICROBE” 模块可以基于已发布的 16S 核糖体 RNA(16S rRNA)和宏基因组测序数据,探究与瓢虫相关的微生物。
LadybirdBase is a comprehensive biological database dedicated to providing detailed information about ladybird beetles, including data on species diversity and omics (genome, transcriptome, microbiome). Developed by the Beetle Ecology and Evolution Lab at Sun Yat-sen University, China, it utilizes open-source software such as MySQL and Django.
In the "SPECIES" module, you can explore ladybird taxonomy, phylogenetic relationships, dietary preferences, geographic distribution, and morphological traits.
In the "GENE" module, you can access data on published ladybird genomes and transcriptomes, as well as gene-related information, including gene structure, functional annotations, gene families, expression patterns, PCR primers, and insights into potential horizontal gene transfer.
In the "MICROBE" module, you can explore the microbes associated with ladybirds, based on published 16S rRNA and metagenome sequencing data.

个人简介
中山大学生态学院教授、博士生导师,生物博物馆馆长。主要从事昆虫的物种多样性起源与演化、鞘翅目昆虫的系统分类、天敌瓢虫的种群遗传学和资源利用等方面的研究。在Nature Communications, Global Change Biology, Functional Ecology, Molecular Biology and Evolution, BMC Biology, Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society,Journal of Systematic Palaeontology,Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, Systematic Entomology,Biological Control, Pest Management Science, Cretaceous Research等学术期刊发表研究论文260多篇,主编和参编“Ladybird Beetles of the Australo-Pacific region”(CSIRO Publish 2020)、黑石顶昆虫图谱(高等教育出版社 2015)、恐龙时代的精灵-追寻昆虫的足迹(中国农业出版社 2013)、 “中国瓢虫原色图鉴”(科学出版社 2009)、 “中国瓢虫科物种多样性及其利用”(广东科技出版社 2004)等专著。担任《环境昆虫学报》主编(2019-2023),《Zoological Systematics》《Insects》等杂志编委;中国昆虫学会生物防治专业委员会副主任、古昆虫专业委员会副主任。
