研究内容
课题组的主要研究内容为气候变化对于物种和生态系统的影响。具体而言,我们研究长时间尺度下(百年、千年、万年、百万年)的气候变化对于物种地理分布、物种生态特征、生态系统特征的影响,以预测未来气候变化影响下物种和地表生态系统的变化,并回答有关生物多样性、环境演变、物种分布与演化等经典生态学和地理学问题。
研究方法包括野外调查采样和实验室处理、数据分析和模型。野外调查采样和实验室处理的主要对象为植物化石(孢粉)、炭屑、其它环境指示化石。数据分析和模型的主要数据类型和模型包括气候数据、化石数据、物种分布模型、植被动态模型、动物生理模型,等等。
