Conservation science of globally and regionally critical species (e.g., sharks, seahorses, pangolins, leopard cats, etc.), including specific aspects such as geographic distribution and migration corridor prediction, ecological niches and their divergence, phenotypic plasticity and adaptive evolution, threat patterns, and conservation gaps.

Research Area: The research team plans to use molecular biology, functional genomics, bioinformatics, genetics and other methods to study the genetic mechanisms of insect reproductive development, including sex determination, genetic diversity and evolution, discover key genes, reveal relevant mechanisms, and provide new ideas and methods for green prevention and control of harmful insects and full utilization of resource insects.
