We are seeking to recruit postdoctoral fellows, master and doctoral students with backgrounds in microbiology, environmental science, earth science, bioinformatics, or related disciplines. Interested applicants are welcome to contact us via email.
Research Interests
Direction 1: Focus on microorganisms in natural water bodies and forest soils, utilizing bioinformatics and biogeochemical techniques to investigate the mechanisms and ecological effects of microbe-driven elemental cycling under global change.
Direction 2: Address the issue of water eutrophication caused by excessive reactive nitrogen emissions from human activities, using microbial culturomics approaches to develop nitrogen removal microbial resources and explore their applications in ecological restoration.
