Research experience

  • Successfully prepared the activated carbons, electrospinning carbon nanofibers and its characterization from mangosteen peels which were applied as energy storage for batteries resources toward the green environment.
  • Performed the preparation of fluorescent silicon nanoparticles which can be used in vitro imaging towards the early diagnosis of cervix, breast and lung cancers.
  • Prepared the fluorescent ratiometric near infrared silicon nanoparticles for the first time with 670 nm emission and was applied in the in vivo imaging
  • Published a review article on atmospheric free radicals’ determinations methods in atmosphere and troposphere
  • Providing practical sessions on Laboratory experiments
  • Successfully prepared the pineapple wine and the waste used as food for animals instead of being released into environment.
  • Performed two weeks extensive internships on the use of in vivo optical sensor machine and Olympus microscope
  • Workshop of 5 days for Young Innovators graduated from University of Rwanda in 2015 which took place at College of sciences studying on different business ideas.
